Our story
From 2006 to a full-service MEP contractor
BFL Engineering Services was formed in 2006 and has grown steadily into a multi-skilled provider of mechanical, electrical and building service solutions. From our base at Trydanol Court in Pyle, Bridgend — just off the M4 — we serve clients throughout Wales and southern England, and work on projects nationwide.
We design, install and maintain buildings. Our reputation is built on high-quality technical delivery: combining the technical knowledge and engineering pedigree built up over time with a growing need for energy conservation, innovation and environmental awareness.
Our extensive expertise spreads over many sectors, making us a leader within our industry — and in 2022 we were recognised as one of the fastest growing businesses in Wales, with 114.6% growth between 2020 and 2022.

Design, install, maintain — one accountable partner
Whether we are appointed for a single discipline or a complete MEP package, the approach is the same: understand the outcome, engineer it properly, and support it afterwards.
Design
We work with clients, main contractors and consultants to develop buildable, efficient designs with realistic budgets and programmes.
Installation
Directly employed and trusted sub-contract teams install to accredited standards, with safety and site co-ordination front and centre.
Maintenance
Planned and reactive maintenance keeps systems compliant and buildings running long after handover, backed by full documentation.
